Whole Leaf Tea
The closest tea drinkers will come to experiencing tea just plucked is by steeping whole leaf tea. One will notice a fuller, more in-depth flavor when drinking whole leaf tea. This is a flavor one will not experience from tea bags containing “dust tea”.
Try making a cup of tea with one tea bag and another cup of tea using two whole leaf teas plucked directly from the garden. One will immediately notice a fuller flavor from the cup of whole leaf tea. Tea bags contain finely chopped tea dust which is of a lesser grade and quality than the whole leaf tea. Whole leaf teas will need to steep for a longer period of time than tea in a bag.
